The first one is of our national bird peacock which is my favourite bird since I was a kid. I used to wait in the rain and wish it just dances once. I did saw it but it was in zoo. We still have loads of peacocks around my place in India. This is my first try and I guess it turned out good. Though, frankly speaking I would hate it in real world but I like to draw it for some reason. I tried my hand at it using just a pencil I think I need to work on vertical depth in pictures as one of my friend suggested was lacking in this picture of mine. So after the scene was done I realized I am horrible at drawing the base of the trees, they looked like X-Rays so I cropped the picture and adjusted the contrast to get the picture. So I started with the same thing I had in my mind forever and tried to use some shading and make flowers look pretty. I have never formally learnt sketching so I am just sketching what I think is pretty. After I finished this one I realized the vase looks disporpotionate but it was too late.
